REGISTRATION INFO. : The September 11, 2009 deadline has passed for registration to receive the backprint on your t-shirt of Nollenn's team name and photograph, but you can still register for his team by following the instructions below up until the date of the event, October 10, 2009. We currently have 41 people registered and are open to welcoming more, so please come out and support a good cause!
Background Story
Nollenn at the age of 3 was referred to Children's Hospital of WI in March 2008 and was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, atypical spitz nevus with malignancy on July 30, 2008. We began a journey along with a team of doctors which none of us would have imagined. After three surgeries to remove a tumor from Nollenn's right leg, cancerous lymph nodes and a year treatment program, we are thankful to all the doctor's involved for saving Nollenn's life.This will be a lifelong journey for Nollenn as not much is known about his cancer, but we are confident that Nollenn's doctor's and Children's Hospital will guide us along the way.
We have created this page to fundraise for Nollenn and other kids just like him who are suffering from life threatening illnesses. We are truly grateful to Children's Hospital, the MACC Fund, WTMJ, The Journal/Sentinel, and Make-A-Wish for all their support during this difficult time in our lives.

Go to www.alsrun.com; Click on Register Now'; Click on Register On a Team; It will prompt you for the team name: Nothin' but N.E.T.; Select Nollenn's Team; It will then prompt you for the password and the password is "mjtnet". You will then be asked to provide your name, address, phone number, d.o.b., t-shirt size, etc.. Registration is: Adults: $20.00, Children: $8.00. You then pay with a credit card.

A child of cancer
There are no answers.
You ask why my child?
Only to be told, he will become a rare cancer research statistic, to be historically filed.
You want to prepare.
But daily life becomes a scare.
The chaos and confusion become so great.
The un-organization of life, you begin to hate.
Friends and family offer to help and reach out
But the helping hand is an endless route.
He goes through his days in endless pain
And you ask yourself, "Is God insane?"
You are one of God's children
But why does your body have to struggle
to rid itself of these bad cells you were given?
Who do you turn to in times of despair?
Of course, your parents, family, doctors and all who give you care.
You are too young to understand
So Maddy, Daddy and I will guide you through this journey with a helping hand.
My son, I will agonize to the last day
And pray that God will assist all of us and guide our way.
