Please help us cover Joey's medical expenses
Joey is a happy, 6 month old puppy who was rescued from euthanasia by NHCD the first week in April. He was doing well and being cared for by one of our fosters until we could find him a forever home. However, due to complications after being neutered, the little guy has had to endure several subsequent visits to the animal hospital as well as another surgical procedure to remove a lemon sized granuloma resultant of internal suture complications followed by a nasty infection. He has also had to be moved between different foster families to accommodate being near medical facilities equipped to handle his needs. The poor little fellow has been through a lot in his short life but Joey is now resting comfortably and his vet, Dr. Pullen, says that he should be a happy, healthy puppy again in about 21 days. Joey has found a family interested in providing him a forever home once he's healthy again but unfortunately, Joey's medical bills now exceed $2000. Any help in offsetting these costs to the rescue would be greatly appreciated!!!
NHCD would also like to take this opportunity to thank the foster families who have cared for Joey as well as Dr. Pullen and his entire staff for their loving care and diligence in providing him with prompt medical attention as required.
