Shannon is a 9 year old girl.  In her short little life Shannon has been diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, epilepsy and bipolar.  She has been hospitalized four times in the past four years. 

This summer Shannon attended Camp Starfish.  Thier program is unlike any other.  They are amazing.  Shannon spent 18 days at camp and learned invaluable life lessons as well as learning how to cope with her disorders and move on and live as "normally" as possible.  She also shares her coping skills with other's and is looking forward to have a successful future. 

I am so proud of her and her progress.  She is a very intense and smart little girl who knows she does not want her disorders to take over her life.
