Thank you for visiting Zoe's fundraising page.
Angels on Stage provides the unique opportunity for children with differing abilities of any type and degree, ages 5-22, to participate in an annual musical theatre production. Now in its 5th season, their rendition of Beauty and the Beast will both thrill and inspire!
As you may know, this is Zoe's third season with Angels on Stage. The first year she appeared as a Bead Seller in their production of "Aladdin". Last year she was a Flower in "Alice in Wonderland". This year she will be a village girl in Act 1, and a napkin in Act 2. The performances for her cast will take place on March 8, 9 and 10, 2013.
The goal of Angels on Stage is to provide a wholesome, positive, safe, inclusionary and value-oriented atmosphere in which participants learn expression, inclusion, teamwork and interactive skills with the assistance of peer buddies. For Zoe, it has provided her with a fun and supportive environment in which she can "let it all hang out" without having to conform to the expectations of the "typical" world. Angels on Stage allows her to express her love of music and dance and participate weekly musical "play date" with other kids of differing abilities. For our family, Angels on Stage has exposed us to other families with similar challenges and joys, the amazing "Angels" who exceed all expectations, and the dedicated staff and volunteers who make this program possible.
We have worked with many organizations for kids with special needs over the years, and this one blows all others out of water! Please support Angels on Stage, Zoe, and all of the kids like her who benefit in innumerable ways from this fantastic program.
