Hi gang!

Once again I am incredibly honored that you are devoting your time and cash to help my cause.
Next week is Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week and it comes with some shocking stats like this one:
Survivorship rates have not improved for young adults since 1975. (I know! Right?!)
So despite the odds, I am thrilled to have made it to 40. I used to think 40 was a step into the archway of Old Fartsville.
Now I see myself as kicking in the door to Cougar Town. I get chemo every two weeks to keep my mets at bay and so far scans are still good.
I applaud and thank you all for your efforts. Please wear sunscreen when you walk and reward yourself with wine here and there. Its good for you.   Christine Blumer - The Wine Diva
