Cleo, my rescue dog inspired me to start Grouchy Puppy last year. She demonstrates daily many wonderful principals that we humans could benefit from learning such as unconditional love, forgiveness and living in the now. 

Be the Change you want to see, means to me that the time is now to actively support groups like Gabriel's Angels, a provider of innovative children's pet therapy programs throughout the country.

Their Mission ~ To deliver healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children, nurturing their ability to love and trust, thereby freeing them from the cycle of violence.

• For every $100 donation five children will be served for an entire year.
  
• The cost to recruit, train, place and monitor one therapy team for one year is $2,500.
• Their services are provided free of charge to the agency and its children.

Gabriel’s Angels was formed in 2000 out of a pressing and documented need in the community to enhance the lives of abused, neglected and at-risk children.  On January 24, 2001, they were granted their 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service retroactive to date of incorporation.
