Help us help our communities survive and recover from the effects of this oil disaster.   Our coastal wetlands have faced decades of destruction from oil pipeline canals, which has made the impacts of hurricanes more harmful to our small fishing communities.  And now, after surviving major effects from Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav and Ike, these same people are facing the loss of their livelihoods and communities from the impacts of crude oil in the wetlands! 

BISCO is a reputable grassroots nonprofit which has worked tirelessly to organize our community members in addressing their needs in these extreme disasters.   We need your help to continue our good work!
