My best friend for almost 14 years, Stella went to the Rainbow Bridge on March 27, 2012.  I miss her every day and have so many wonderful memories of her.  Of all the dogs I have known and loved through the years, Stella was the easiest, she never wanted anything more than to be around me, preferably in the kitchen!  I really missed her this year planting my garden, she used to just lay there in the sun while I worked, only getting up to move to a spot closer to me as I worked my way down the rows.  Although I do remember one year she ate all my seed potatoes before I could get them in the ground!  I was so lucky she shared her life with me, everyone who met her loved her, and I could take her anywhere without worrying about her causing any problems. She especially loved going to Four Your Paws only and picking out her own treats and toys.   I remember her last Bark in the Park several years ago, even though she couldn't make the walk, she won the swimsuit competition and had a wonderful time. 

Gemma and I walk this year in memory of our wonderful Stella, and hope your generous contributions will help many other special animals find their forever homes.
