Hi there! Thanks for coming to my fundraising page for National Novel Writing Month's November Write-a-thon. On November 15th, I'll be joining more than 100 authors at the SomArts Cultural Center in San Francisco. Our goal: Write as much of our books as possible over six hours of food, drinks, and fun.  Did I mention I'm finally putting pen to, er, fingers to keyboard, and doing my first draft of "The Cat Farm"  the story of my first two years in animal rescue.  Hey! There is actually a market for this kind of stuff - AND - a Cat Writer's Association. (who knew!). 

Anyway, I'm joining in the fun with this organization to push me into getting that all-important first draft DONE!  The Office of Letters and Light is the parent/sponsering organization for National Novel Writing Month (every November for the past 10 years!) and is a great organization for saving literacy and creativity for the next generation. They're worthy of your support - even if it didn't help me. 

All the money I raise will go directly to the Office of Letters and Light, whose free programs such as National Novel Writing Month inspire tens of thousands of kids, teens, and adults to write books every year.
