I was introduced to HD back in 1983, my childrens Grandfather was diagnosed with HD.  There was not alot of information about it, I remember reading that people at high risk should not have children, I already had three children.  So I thought by the time they are thirty there will be a cure.  I was only with my childrens Father for about six yrs, I could not deal with the mental and physical abuse. We found out later that he also had HD along with several of his Brothers and Sisters.

My Son Harley was diagnosed with HD in 2004.  He is 29 yrs old and lives at home with me.  It is a challenge but we live day to day.

My beautiful Daughter, Angela was diagnosed a few yrs ago, this was the worst day of my life.  She is at home with her husband and two children, she is an absolute amazing person.

Team Hope is very important to me, I have three Grandchildren and hopefully by the time they are thirty, there will be a cure for HD!
