My name is Shawn Fargen and I represent Karate America in Greenville.  I'm a new dad to twins and my daughter Gabriella was blessed to be surrounded by the wonderful staff of the Children's Hospital just after birth.  Being born breach, she inhaled alot of fluid that resulted in her needing the professional care of the Children's Hospital.

I've been involved in the Karate America organization for over 10 years.  What I've learned from my instructor and fellow Chief Instructors is that Karate America is more than learning how to kick and punch.  It's more about developing ourselves and others around us to be the best possible human beings.  Part of our constant development is to educate our students on the need of giving back to our communities.  Karate America has chosen Children's Hospital of Wisconsin as our charity of choice.
