Here we are again!  Ready or not, Sam and I will (once again) be participating in this year's Ride for Life. We've done this Ride in the fiercest winds, the soggiest conditions, and the most debilitating heat, and yet I've never thought that I wouldn't be out there again the next year! This Ride is about community, fraternity, family, and all of them coming together for a common goal.  I've done this ride alone, with friends, and with both of my boys.  Sam was 12 years old when he first did this ride with me. The certificate he was presented for being the 'youngest person to ever complete the 100 mile course' continues to be a source of pride for him - and me!
