I can't believe it's already been 4 years since I was a volunteer at ProNino. I have only been back to visit the kids once, in 2008, but they're never far from my thoughts. I still have dreams in Spanish where I'll be talking to the kids I used to teach down there.

I created this page to help a cause that I've seen firsthand do wonderful things for children in the most desperate of situations. There are 80 children living at ProNino now and they're needs are great. They've been orphaned or abandoned by their parents, they have spent time homeless on the streets begging for food. Many have been addicted to drugs.

ProNino gives these children a place to live - but so much more - they receive detoxification and counseling, education so that they can be re-entered in the public schools, and vocational and life skills so that they can live independently after leaving the center.

I know there are many demands on your charitable giving. I hope that you can find a way to support ProNino and their children.
