Hi and thanks for visiting my fund-raising web page. Please take two minutes and read these few paragraphs - I guarantee it's worth your while.

I'd really appreciate your support in something I feel very strongly about.  With my family's support, I'm participating in the BODY BY GOD 40 Day EXTREME MAKEOVER CHALLENGE.  Body by God has linked arms with Team World Vision to provide an opportunity for me to use the One Life (One Life Revolution Video) I have to do something. 

I have set personal goals for myself to improve my health, my relationships and my character over the next 40 days.  As a result of joining up with Body by God I learned through World Vision that HIV/AIDS is ravaging our world and we in America have no idea of the pandemic sweeping our planet.  In light of this I have set another personal goal.  Over the next 40 days I will raise awareness in my circle of influence about the 14 Million children in the world who are orphaned by HIV/AIDS - and I will raise $1000 to send help through World Vision.

According to United Nations estimates, every 14 seconds a child is orphaned due to HIV/AIDS. This means that over 6,000 children everyday join the over 14 million children worldwide who have been orphaned by this disease. Often these children do not have enough to eat, no clean water to drink, no access to proper medical care, they cannot attend school and grow up in an environment of fear and neglect. Without a loving hand to support and guide them, in many cases they must care for sick and dying parents and are left with the responsibility of raising their younger siblings. Yet, through the work of World Vision, there is hope for the future of these children. Your donation, in support of my efforts, can make all the difference in the lives of these children. A little money can go a long way to help!
