I heard something on the radio this morning that encouraged me to do something I've never done before. Its called "Walk & Rock" presented by The TEARS Foundation. On June 27 from 10am-4pm at Safeco field Tedd and I are going to-- well -- walk and rock in the hopes of raising pledges for the TEARS Foundation.

The TEARS Foundation is presenting a community fundraising event called Walk & Rock where individuals form teams & collect pledges to Walk at Safeco Field and Rock in a rocking chair placed between 1st, 2nd and home plate. All monies raised goes to support The TEARS Foundation, to provide support to bereaved families who have lost an infant by assisting them with funeral expenses and emotional support.

Because I understand the overwhelming grief of losing a child and having to plan financially and emotionally for the funeral, Tedd and I will be walking & rocking in honor of Alyxandria Rose and we would love for you to join our team. If you would like to support us but walking and rocking is not your thing you can sponsor us individually or as a team by making a donation. Of course your prayers are always welcome and certainly encouraged.
