I'm participating in Laura's March again this year.  If you can, please considering donating (even $5 helps).  Funds raised will go toward the Women's Rape Crisis Center and Frog Hollow Art Center in their collaborative art project with a two-fold objective: to provide sexual assault victims a means of healing by giving them a voice through the art itself; and to run workshops and exhibits of the finalized art pieces for middle and high school youths to build an appreciation of art, bring awareness to the pervasive problem of sexual violence, and teach the understanding and compassion that is necessary for positive social change.

This year my heart will be focused on the strength and endurance of women and children of South Africa.  South Africa has the highest rate of rape in the world, including child and baby rape, with one person estimated to be raped every 26 seconds.
