Thank you to everyone that supported Team Alabama for the National Kidney Foundation's 2010 Transplant Games held in Madison Wisconsin July 30-August 3. Team Alabama had a fantastic Games all due to your help! We brought home 20 medals--along with Brooke Miley being awarded the National Transplant Awareness Award and Vivian Herren being awarded the National Courage Award. We are getting ready to kick off our efforts for the 2012 Games and need your help in fundraising and recruiting! Our goal is to have 85 athletes-25 donor family members and 20 living donors and living donor athletes..please help us to acheive this goal! The location for the 2012 Games has not yet been announced--but believe us where ever the Games are going to be held, "Team Bama" is ready to rock! We have lost three team members since the Games in July--our wonderful leader and always Team Captain Bob Rush, the ever bubbly and positive Dehemerise Henry and a member from 2002 Debra Gerou Ray. Many of you have asked to honor them with a donation to Team Alabama and we thank you for memorializing them as they will always be with us. Thank you in advance for your donation!
