Last year, I became involved with the shelter and realized so many misperceptions that I myself had about the homeless population in Charleston.  Crisis Ministries is truly an amazing organization and changes lives everyday.  They NEED more support, awareness, money, etc. 

My hope is that you can join us this year at the annual food.shelter.hope. fundraiser to be held this year on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Lowndes Grove Plantation. The event is going to be a fun party for a serious issue and will feature live music from the Red Dog Ramblers, fabulous food from Carolina Catering, J. Bistro and Granville's, an open bar and exquisite silent and live auction items.

Invitations will be mailed as usual. However, you can secure your tickets now by donating $50 per ticket buyer here at my fundraising page. Simply type the name(s) of ticket buyers in the subject line and automatically join the guest list. If you cannot attend this year, but would like to make a donation in honor of the event, you can also do that here.
