Dearest friends and family - welcome to my very first web page! Below you'll find some basic information about my trek in 2010. Feel free to email or call me with questions, and I hope to have your support as I begin to train for this experience! 

Managed by Save the Rhino International, the 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Challenge is an all-female climbing event which aims to summit 3 of Africa’s highest peaks in 3 weeks and raise money and awareness for the three key issues currently facing Africa today; environment, education and health. 

In line with the UN Millennium Goals, the climbs of Mount Kenya, Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro aim to raise awareness for these peak issues and to support and encourage grassroots organizations in Kenya and Tanzania who are focused on Africa’s environment, education and health concerns.

The first 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Challenge took place in January 2007, the second n 2009, and now the third challenge is set to go again in January 2010.  The 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Challenge is a community driven event with all funds raised going directly to the three peak issues facing Africa today.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to sponsor the 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Challenge in the USA. A unique aspect of 3 Peaks 3 Weeks is that all of the girls pay their way to Africa, so all funds raised through this site go directly to the 3 charities.
