Hi Everyone - Thanks so much for visiting my firstgiving page.  On Sunday I will be participating in A.D.O.P.T.'s 15th Annual Walkathon, and am raising funds for this event.  I have been involved with A.D.O.P.T. for 5 years; it is a no-kill animal shelter located in Naperville, IL.  Our walkathon is our major fundraising event, and I would be most grateful if you would lend your support.  All the money raised goes directly to the care of the dogs and cats in our program - and every little bit helps.  Your donation, of course, is tax deductible in its entirety.

PS - The picture you see is of Trapper, aka "foster dog," the A.D.O.P.T. dog I had the good fortune to foster part-time.  I am pleased to announce that Trapper will be going into another foster home this week, in a "foster with the intent to adopt" scenario.  I will dearly miss seeing him, but am thrilled that he will be going to a loving home.
