Our story: Seven pups, at 6-day old who need money for puppy milk replacer.

Our mom Penelope Cruz was a walking basset hound skeleton, when she was rescued. Ozark Mountain Basset Rescue did not know we were on the way, when they took her in.

The rescue people only knew that a voracious battalion of fleas, ticks joined another battalion of heart worms sucked all the blood, the nutrient from our mom both inside and outside. Mom knew life has not been good for her. She felt it everyday!

Our mom gave birth to nine of us a month later on 9/5/09. Our mom did not want us puppies suffer with the horrible fate that she knew probably all her life. She decided we puppies would be better off all dead. Can't you imagine how a new mother would feel knowing her youngsters may not have enough food to eat and starve slowly like she had been?!  She had to choose the lesser of two evils. We don't blame our mom a bit.

The Rescue folks removed us from our mom because she needs some rest to fight her last battalion of heart worms, since the first battalion of fleas and ticks are  out of commission. The wonderful folks at Ozark Mountain Basset Rescue made sure those fleas and ticks were "DEAD & BURIED". Yeah!

Only seven us puppies are still living now. We are only six days old and are without our mother's milk. We are hungry and growing fast and we need milk replacer. Our mom needs money for medicine and supplements.

BTW, the wonderful folks at Ozark Mountain Basset Rescue said that you can suggest names for us, when you donate money for puppy milk replacer and vet bills for our sick mom.

Please help all seven of us puppies  get some puppy milk replacer and vet care for us and our mom Penelope Cruz."
