A big thank you to those of you who supported us in the 1st Annual Epilepsy walk!  We were overwhelmed by your generosity!  Because of you, team CHRIS exceeded our group goal of $1000!  It was a great first walk with over 160 people participating.  We took a nice two mile stroll, ate some yummy food, enjoyed a few activities and made some great contacts with other families and organizations.

As many of you know, our son Chris was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was three years old.  Since then he has tried many medications, a special diet, and most recently brain surgery in attempt to ride him of the seizures that are often life threatening and that rob him of a "normal" childhood. 

 

We are so excited to be participating in the First Annual NH Epilepsy walk in Concord on October 4th.  This organization not only contributes largely to research, but also supports great programs like the "CampWee-kan-tu", a camp for kids with epilepsy.  Chris had the privilege of attending this summer and can not wait to return!
