Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I created it in honor and memory of my mom, Barbara Brown Schoen.  She was an incredible role model who lived every moment of her life with passion, class and dignity.  She left me too soon, at the youthful age of 70,  as a result of carcinoid cancer.  The Caring For Carcinoid Foundation is a wonderful non-profit organization that spends 100% of funds raised on research toward a cure. Because carcinoid cancer proliferates slowly, it is actually a great cancer to study and research and will likely inform treatment for many other types of cancer as well.

I am so grateful for the friendship and support of so many individuals over the past several years.  I am honored by your continued donations to this worthy cause.
