Dear Friends,

Please join Alistair and me in running the American Friends of UNRWA (AFU) 5K. All proceeds from this event were originally going to UNRWA's 2012 Gaza Summer Games. Unfortunately due to the lack of initial funding, the 2012 Gaza Summer Games have been cancelled, scheduled to return in 2013. The American Friends of UNRWA 5K will continue, and funds will be redirected to UNRWA's "Special Children Special Needs” initiative in the Gaza Strip.

To join us for the walk/run, go to the "Event" tab above, follow the link to register and join team "Salam". If you can't make it for the event, you can still help us fundraise through this secure website. Feel free to forward to anyone you think might want to join us!
