Hi Friends and Family,
Most of you know I had a double lung transplant on 4-25-01, it hasn't been an uneventful recovery, but I am so thankful to be able to breath, I think I can accomplish anything I choose to do.
I am training for the 2004 transplant games to be held in Minnesota in July. I am allowed 3 events to compete in, I plan on doing Racquetball, 20K bike race, and the soft ball throw in memory of my donor, "Ally" who played softball until she passed away at 15 years of age.
I love the spirit of the fellow athletes, and the great competetion. Our goals are not to win the games, but to raise awareness in what receiving the gift of life can do.
