My granddaughter Sierra is now 8 years old. She is a bright, happy child. But because she has Rett Syndrome (a disease that effects mostly girls), she can not talk, walk, use her hands, & much more.
As her grandmother, I want someday that Sierra will be able to walk, run, play like other children & communicate with ease.
Researchers are making progress & they think it will someday be possible to reverse the effects of Rett Syndrome. For Sierra, her family and all the other "Rett Angels", we hope & pray "someday" will be soon.
I will be doing a Strollathon on Sept. 30 of this year. Would you please consider helping the research & make a donation.
P.S. The video on the right, my daughter made when Sierra was 5.
