Thank you for visiting our Water Aid fund raising page. When Mayank and I started planning our wedding we knew we wanted to set the option of giving a gift to an organization we believed in.  After our trip to India we decided to chose an organization that works in India.

    A moment on a street near Juhu beach in the city of Mumbia moved us to chose this particular organization. We were returning to our hotel in a rickshaw when a boy holding an infant stopped at the side of the car. I only realized after observing the kindness of the driver what the boy was begging for. He was pleading me for water. The rickshaw driver pulled out his own water and poured it into the boy's upturned hands. It was one of the most moving acts of compassion that I have ever witnessed. It moved us to find an organization that works with providing one of the most basic needs we have.
