Who doesn't love a basset hound!   It's great to be woken up in the morning with a wet nose & a nudge basically saying "get up mom it's time to eat".  They'll be the first to jump up on the couch for your spot when you get up as well - "move your feet, lose your seat right?"

We've had many sad and horrific stories behind some of the poor hounds that have found there way to us this past year, ranging from being bundled up & left down a laundry shoot for dead to puppies with uncontrolled seizures. 

It takes a special person to take in these pups that come to us with so much baggage as well as a lot of resources with foster care, vet visits, medications, and even surgeries.
