Just like last year, I'm going to fast for 24 hours to raise money for the Greater Chicago Food Depository (ekya is organizing, and 100% of the money raised will go the GCFD)

I will only have water from noon Friday August 6th to Saturday August 7th - it will be tough, but compared to the reality for most people, its nothing.

Hunger still remains a terrible symptom of the global economic crisis, and i'm trying to do my part to help my fellow Chicagoans put food on the table.

I'm hoping each of you can give $1 for each hour I fast, for a total of $24.  If I can get twenty of you, I'll have reached my goal.
