Sonia Corlew's Fundraising Page
On October 3rd, I will be be running the Camarillo Marathon in honor of one of my students who is a Neuroblastoma survivior.
The charity I am raising funds for is the Neuroblastoma Alliance. This remarkable team of doctors, parents and other supporters are all dedicated to finding a cure for Neuroblastoma, a severely underfunded and deadly pediatric cancer.
I know that we are all often approached about donating to worthy causes, and it is impossible to contribute to all of them, so I am truly asking for any donation. NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL. How about just one dollar? Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. Your gift will go directly to advancing groundbreaking cancer research in neuroblastoma and making related clinical trials available to more sick children. The NB Alliance has a goal of funding four new clinical trials each year across ten hospitals in the United States. It only costs $2000 for each child to enroll in any of these studies. $2000 to give a child a shot at life is pretty remarkable, so every dollar amount helps. I'll happily take just $1.
The Irish philospher, Edmund Burke said it best, "Nobody makes a greater mistake, than he who does nothing because he can do only a little."
Thank you for your consideration, and please feel free to forward this page to anyone who you think might be interested in donating.
Sincerely,
Sonia Corlew
