Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the
2009 Walk for Lupus Now!
Last year's walk was such an incredible success! With your support, the Utah Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America was able to hire two office support staff, increase our reach to community through an updated database and our newsletter as well as participate in the non-profit section of the Farmer's Market at Pioneer Park. Our most valuable project was creating a medical relief fund for those with Lupus that can't afford their medications.
All because of you!!!
Let’s do it again!!! This is my 2nd Annual Walk for Lupus Now and I'm very excited to invite you to join me and my family for a spring day in the park for a great cause! It is a short walk around the park followed by food, a raffle and entertainment!

A thousand thanks for your continued support.
In my personal journey with this disease, it's almost impossible for me to express my gratitude for the kindness and support of those around me.
It keeps me hopeful. It keeps me strong.
Zero in 50: Thursday, November, 20, 2008 marked an unfortunate anniversary. It was 50 years ago the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last approved a drug to specifically treat lupus.
Lupus is currently an incurable, often misdiagnosed and very misunderstood disease. Lupus causes the immune system to attack the body's own joints, tissue and organs.
In Utah, there are at least 20,000 people afflicted with Lupus and 2 million nationwide. Lupus can range from a mild illness to a life-threatening disease. Because of its debilitating effects, Lupus affects more than just those diagnosed. It affects their children, spouses, family and friends. Please help us find a cure.
