Coaches across Continents
Coaches across Continents is a non profit organization working in developing countries to create leaders in those regions. Through an innovative educational soccer curriculum, volunteers train local coaches, educate children and work with local organizations that also use soccer to develop life and leadership skills.
Coaches across Continents recently won an award for Best New Project from Beyond Sport, an initiative which honors the most inspirational organizations around the world dedicated to promoting change through sports. Following the success of programs in India, South Africa and Tanzania, the services of Coaches across Continents have been requested by organizations from 73 countries.
In 2009, Hat-Trick Initiative Programs in Malawi, Uganda and Zambia will be started. An amount of $81K is needed to fund the travel, accommodation, equipment, on-line mentoring, fields and school supplies for each 3-year program which impacts 33K children and 330 local teachers/coaches.
Football for Female Empowerment is one of Coaches across Continents' program offering opportunities to young women around he world. For example, in India orphan girls played soccer for the first time in 2008.

Goals4Leaders with Harvard Women's Soccer
You can help Coaches across Continents by sponsoring each goal scored by Harvard Women's Soccer team. The idea is that family, friends, and fans as well as alumni networks and local businesses and corporations will pledge donations for every goal scored in the 2009 season.
Fixed donations are accepted as well.
The money raised from the Goals4Leaders program will help build Harvard Hat-Trick Initiative programs and help support current student-athletes as well as alumni who will travel with Coaches across Continents to one of their programs.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
You can either sponsor each goal or donate a fixed amount.
-To sponsor each goal (for an amount equal or more to 1$), fill out the donation area as such:

-To donate a fixed amount, write "fixed amount" in the comment section.
At the end of the season, please come back to the page and donate your total amount based upon the number of goals that are scored.
To donate a FIXED amount, simply fill in the dollar figure in the AMOUNT section and in the comment section write FIXED amount.
