Meet Rosie Russell!
It was not too long ago that Rosie was rescued from a puppy mill and brought to Animal Rescue Inc. This sweet and friendly girl is anything but typical for being both a Jack Russell and a puppymill survivor:
• She howls like a hound when you leave
• She is friendly with all humans (but not with any other critters)
• She does not bark all the time (she has only barked in her sleep)
• She also doesn't have all the jack russell energy
I first met Rosie after seeing her in an area by herself (due to the unfriendliness with other animals) so I decided to spend some time with her. The rest is history. She has been with us since the end of January. She has adapted well to home-life, except for a few mishaps we are still working on.
Even though Rosie cannot attend the event herself, she would love it if you could help by donating to Animal Rescue Inc's Dogs' Day in the Park. Your donation will continue to rehabilitate and rehome many more animals like Rosie.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Animal Rescue Inc is a "shelter for life" for stray and abandoned animals. At any one time we have approximately one hundred dogs and several hundred cats between our locations; most of which are available for adoption.
It was founded in 1976 when facing eviction, Grace decided to buy a farm instead and it has evolved from there. Animal Rescue is dedicated to these animals that are waiting for a home or never find a home.
