Stacey Sears' Fundraising Page
Hi Everyone! Thanks for visiting my funraising page for "Walk for Those Who Can't". Please help Luke and I raise money for Carolina Canines.
As some of you may know, I have volunteered to be a foster parent for a service dog. Luke was donated to CCFS as a 10 week old puppy and I received him back in December 2008 and I will be training him for the next 2 years to become a service dog for someone. After 2 years, he will be placed with a new family and I will have the opportunity to meet the individual who receives him and learn what a difference he will make in their life. Trust me, I understand how tight the economy is right now so any donations are appreciated and I would love if you could join us on 'Saturday March 28th at 9am' to walk the Wrightsville Beach Loop.
Read on to learn more about Carolina Canines for Service:
Carolina Canines for Service is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to achieve greater independence through the services of quality trained service dogs. A service dog is individually trained to perform tasks for the benefit of a person with a physical disability other than blindness. It takes almost three years to train a service dog, and once fully trained, each dog, now valued at over $38,000, is placed with a recipient at NO COST!
CCFS operates through fund-raising, grants & charitable donations from businesses, corporations, organization & individuals who share our mission.
We appreciate the support of the community and any little bit will help! Thanks Everyone!
