Autism Society of America

Take a Step for Autism - Walk and Fun Day Springfield,  Illinois

Hunter Meyer's Fundraising Page

Hunter is a very special boy who has touched many hearts.  He is always there if you need a hug or a smile.  He was born with a chromosome disorder, inverted duplication 15, which is a component of his autism.   We do struggle with speech and development delays, anxiety issues, and social skills, but we are working so hard on them.   I don't think I would ever change a thing if I had too.  He will get to know the basics of life without all its complications, the simplicity we all long for.  He's just like every other eight year old child - happy, full of life, and healthy.   He loves his brother, Logan, camping, school, playstation games, 4-wheel riding, and much more.  Dislikes - any academics.

Please donate any amount, small or large.  We thank for from the bottom of our hearts.

You are more than welcome to come and join our team "Steppin' Up for Autism" or as an individual for the one-mile walk Saturday, September 26 in Springfield, IL.  Click on http://www.firstgiving.com/asacic to join our Team or just to read more information on the event.

Again thanks for everything!!
