As you all know, Autism is something that has changed my life in more ways then I knew were possible when I first started teaching this population.

The students I have worked with are amazing and the simple joys they find in life can be a lesson to us all.

The families of my students are stronger than anything I could have ever imagined. The love, support, and advacacy from the parents will always continue to inspire me.

As the numbers of children with autism continues to rise, I can't emphasize enough the need for more research on brain development, cuases, and treatments.

The money donated for this walk will help the research as well as go directly to families and school programs that need funding for special items.
