In past years I have donated to the Crazy for Cole Team and last year I was inspired to join Team Crazy for Cole in an effort to raise funds for the more than 21,000 Special Olympics Illinois athletes who train and compete throughout the year.
Last year I was only able to complete 14 of the 24 plunges because of severe weather conditions so I went back this year to finish what I started.
They say anyone with a little guts and a warm heart can take the Plunge and I am one of those people.
I’m collecting pledges from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support the more than 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois! Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.
