Tulsa AIDS Walk 2009 is coming up Saturday, Octorber 3rd at Veterans Park (21st & Boulder Ave) at 9:00 AM.  

Over the past 17 years AIDS Walk Tulsa has raised over $160,000 for Tulsa area HIV/AIDS care giving agencies. This year's Walk will provide funding for the local cost of the National AIDS Fund 2009-2010 AmeriCorp Tulsa team.  AmeriCorp team members provide HIV prevention and care for local HIV/AIDS agencies. 

 

Last year, OKDHS came in first place in the 'CARE Provider' Category.  Lets do it again in 2009.   Thank you for all  your efforts last year and thanks in advance for any contribution you can give this year.  If you would rather donate in person, please contact me via email  stan.smalts@okdhs.org or call (918) 581-2178 and I'll be happy to make arrangements with you.  It would also be great  to see a big OKDHS turnout on the day of the walk.  Hope to see you on Octorber 3rd!!!
