The Hall Creek Scamper is a 5k run and 1 mile run/walk that will take place on Saturday, July 26th, 2008. More information, printable race forms and online registration are available at http://seversondells.org. All of the proceeds will go to benefit Severson Dells Nature center, a not-for-profit that strives to connect people from Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin to nature. Children from almost all of the schools in the Rockford area will visit Severson sometime during their K-12 career.

 

The race itself is an educational experience. The race is a "green," or environmentally friendly race. The race will educate people how they can "green" their lives and help decrease their environmental impact everyday.
