Did you know that on average, sixteen people a day die waiting to receive a transplant?  Chronic Kidney disease is currently affecting 20 million Americans (1 in 9 Adults). Today, there are 35,000 American's waiting for a kidney. Many Americans are not forunate enough to find a transplant, the ones that are given the gift of life through kidney transpant spend months or even years on dialysis, which is painful and costly.  With donations, we can help find a cure, and make transplant patients and their families more comfortable- that is why, on May 21st Wingate will be particapating in the National Kidney walk to assist in raising money for Chronic Kidney Patients. Please, give what you can. You may help save the life of someone you know.

Last year's Kidney Walk was one of the biggest and best with over 1,000 walkers and over $100,000 in donations.  These donations have changed the lives of those affected by Kidney disease.  The success of last year's walk was made possible by Wingate employees and people like you, who care about others and help others in need!
