Description: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles builds homes in partnership with low-income families.

Mission: HFH GLA builds homes with those who demonstrate need and the willingness to partner with Habitat. Families are not given the homes; they purchase them at no profit through interest free loans. Mortgage payments are placed into a revolving Fund for Humanity to build future homes. Through this approach we give families a "hand up" restoring the hope and dignity that poverty housing can strip away.
