Thank you for visiting our Personal Fundraising Page for the upcoming Angel Adventure® Walk and Community Day to support the brain tumor cause. By making a contribution through this site, you will support our fundraising efforts and help make a difference in the fight against brain tumors!
Our son, Asher, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma on 5/26/06. He was in the hospital for a total of 176 days for surgeries and in-patient chemotherapy. He had to endure 2 craniotomies, several surgeries (shunt and debridement for an infection), 6 rounds of chemotherapy, 1 stem cell transplant, and many MRIs, tests and procedures.
Last year, during the Angel Adventure Walk, our then 3-year-old son, Asher, was in the hospital so he could not walk with us. He was recovering from a horrible infection that caused a large wound at the back of his head. This was at the end of the 3rd round of his chemotherapy. He healed, during a 3 month break in his treatment, and at new year's he began again, with 3 more rounds of chemo and a stem cell rescue. He healed from two infections in March and has been 'healthy' ever since. He will continue having check-ups for years to come and we pray he will remain cancer free. His next MRI is tomorrow (9/21/07), which is 6 months post-treatment.
We follow so many stories of children with brain tumors. We hear about diagnosis, we hear about pain, we hear about recurrence, we hear about suffering....
We must help find a cure.
Last year you helped us raise $4,225.00 for the National Brain Tumor Foundation. Let's try to do that again this year!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.

Do not ask, "Why...," rather, "How can I love him?"
