Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County has experienced a lot of growth and change over the past year. Connie Stalhandske was promoted to Program Director and Stephanie Patka was hired as the new Executive Director. The dedication of this two person staff has joined the passion of an enthusiastic and ever-growing Board of Directors in the renewal of our commitment to serving youth in Elkhart County.

 

We believe that every boy and girl benefits from the friendship and guidance of a role model during that child’s growing years. Every Big has the unique opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child. Year to date, we are fortunate to have created 137 matches between Bigs and Littles. We see this as an opportunity for growth and we want to do more!

 

Currently, we have over 75 Littles waiting for a Big, the mentor in their life who will BE the difference. We need volunteers to serve with our agency, but we increasingly need monetary donations to help fund current matches and help facilitate even more matches.
