The 1st Annual International Virtual

Walk to Turn the Corner on Lyme.

This unique Virtual Walk allows participants to join together, each in their own community on May 15, 2011, to raise awareness about Lyme disease and tick-borne diseases.

The first 500 participants to sign-up with a donation of $35 or more will get a FREE WALK T-SHIRT. Wear it proudly in your own community on May 15, 2011. A follow-up email will be sent to obtain your size order for the Walk T-Shirt. Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for T-shirt delivery.

Visit the Together We Face Lyme Pages to view photos of walk participants, friends and supporters. After your donation is made, you will be emailed a receipt which will provide a link to upload your photo and join the Virtual Walk.

To raise awareness, Turn the Corner has prepared a Template Press
Release and a Template Letter to the Editor to be personalized by all
walk participants and sent by you to your local newspaper, blog, or on-
line news service.

Once your registration is complete, please create a Personal
Fundraising Page and ask your friends and family to support you and
the Virtual Walk. Send it to everyone you know! Post the Virtual Walk on Facebook.

Money raised from the Virtual Walk will support Turn the Corner
Foundation's new campaign to raise public awareness about Lyme disease and tick-borne diseases, on-going research projects and the Physician's Training Program, which provides medical practitioners the opportunity to study with a Lyme-literate health care professional.
