Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page for the Color Me Rad 5k! On July 21st, I'll be heading to Richmond, VA to my first every marathon, and most certainly the most colorful!  This is no ordinary race as proceeds will be given to a local charity and I will be powdered with rainbow colored paints the whole way.  Along with my goal to get super fit and trim to finish the race, I also am making a personal goal to try and raise extra money to go towards the Special Olympics Virginia!  Your donation will help Special Olympics Virginia provide year-round sports training and athletic competitions to Virginians with intellectual disabilities.

So for all those who have wanted to run a 5k and never did; I will do the hard work, lace up my Nike's, and become a rainbow if only you could donate a little to the cause I am running for.  Pretty please?  With a cherry on top?

*6/3/12  Thank you so very much to all of you who have donated so far!  I am just so amazed by how gracious you all are and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I was worried I had set my goal too high and that I would not be able to reach even a few hundred, then to login and see that we're at 60% of my goal?  AMAZING!  You all are awesome, thank you, thank you, thank you!
