Dear Family and Friends,

I've decided to run in the Chicago Marathon (26.2 miles) this year to benefit Team World Vision. Team World Vision works with communities in Africa to make safe water available for children and families. Infant mortality rates are literally cut in half! Resources like clean water give hope and life to whole communities.

As you know, I love to run, but I'm not doing this for myself. I'm doing this so children on the other side of the world realize that someone cares enough for them to do something about it!

I know we all, on different levels, struggle with our financial situation. If you feel that you would like to give, please give whatever you can afford. No amount is too small and any donation is appreciated.

Race Day is October 10th, 2010 - say a prayer and wish me luck!
