This will be my 9^th year to run the Tulsa Run as Forrest Gump and raise funds for Special Olympics Oklahoma. I will be running 9.3 miles with a suitcase and a box of chocolates on behalf of the athletes throughout Oklahoma and raising support for the year-round program.

     

My appearance as Forrest attracts a lot of attention and brings awareness to this program for children and adults with intellectual disabilities [mental retardation].  It is a great way to introduce people to the mission of Special Olympics and to the athletes.  Once again I would appreciate your help with my 2007 fund-raising event.
