Hello,

The last time we participated in the FedEX Plane Pull was 2008. We've had conflicts the past two years and the boys can't wait to go give the plane another try. According to them they have bigger muscles so it will be no problem. They are so funny. On August 6th we will see just how big those muscles really are.

The Plane Pull Challenge is a giant tug-of-war betwen your team and a plane. The past several years we have pulled a FedEx Boeing 727 aircraft weighing more than 147,000 pounds but this year they decided to make it more challenging. This year we will be pulling a FedEx Boeing 757 aircraft weighing more than 164,000 pounds. That's right-the plane weighs more than 82 tons! They like to make it more difficult too by filling the plane up with fuel. Isn't that nice of them! Our team is to pull the aircraft 12 feet. The team that completes the task in the least amount of time wins the "Fastest Team Pull" award for their division.

Money raised for this event will support Special Olympics Indiana.
