Hello,
Thank you all for donating so kindly. Casey AND Loye can now rappel with me and seeing she's prettier than Casey or I, here is Loye's outfit to match ours.
Thanks again for donating, and you can continue to donate to Special Olympics too.
Loye rappels at 1:25
Casey & Steve rappel at 2:00
Location, Wells Fargo building on Fayetteville Street, downtown Raleigh. And we must be there an hour early before our rappel time to gear up.
No donation is to small!! And you can donate anonymously too!
All donations go to the Special Olympics of North Carolina (SONC).
I help SONC in many ways; to give you an idea, as chairperson, our civic club cooked 800 hotdogs/meals for the softball venue last year, as we will this year too.
Many thanks in advance for your support -- and don't forget to forward this link to anyone who you think might want to also donate.
And for every $1,000 over the base $1,000, ($2,000, $3,000, etc), I get to take someone with me rappelling down the Wells Fargo building in Raleigh on October 6th. (Watch the video)
The names of those who donate will be thrown into a hat two weeks prior to the event and drawn at random until I find someone who wishes to join me.
CASEY M. won the chance to rappel with me!!!
LOYE M. is second runner up, so keep donating people, she wants to rappel too!!
Thanks a bunch,
Steve
P.S. I already promised one company, (the owner and two of its employees), who donated a total of $300, that I would wear a pink tutu on the decent from the building I'll be rappelling off of. So throw me your requests and I'll consider them. I've heard a tiara and white tights may help the contributions, but I'm unsure if that will help. For the right amount of money, I'm open to just about anything! Remember now, money talks!!
