The team is returning to Haiti to continue support efforts. We have contributed dollars, raised funds and repaired 22 wells to date, and we are looking to raise money to cover an additonal 5 wells for our upcoming trip. The team has been able to repair as many as 3 wells in a single day (if we don't run in to too many complications), which allows us to get more water to more people faster; as it may take us 2 1/2 days to drill and establish a single new well.
Each well costs approximately $2,000 and serves an average of 2,000 people ($1 per person). Our volunteer team members take vacation time and cover their own expenses, approximately $2,100 per person, to allow the money raised through this site to go directly to Living Water International in support of the wells.
The team captures images and documents efforts while in Haiti; allowing donors to see the direct impact of their generosity.
Please donate today, as every dollar makes a difference!
